On July 15, at Nha Trang University, the 16th international conference on science, technology and innovation for sustainable happiness (STISWB 2024) took place.
This is an annual conference organized by a member of the Network of Thai Universities at different locations in Southeast Asia. The conference has been organized 15 times, including two times held in Vietnam in 2010 (in Quang Binh) and 2011 (in Da Nang).
At the conference, domestic and foreign experts and researchers presented presentations around main topics including: Materials science and manufacturing industry; Electrical and electronic engineering; Computer science and software engineering; Information technology convergence services; Educational science and management technology; Agricultural engineering, biology and food technology; Petrochemical engineering; Automotive and traffic engineering; New energy and environment; Managing and protecting water resources; Health and life sciences.

The STISWB 2024 conference created the forum for scholars and researchers in fields of mechanics, engineering, and technology to discuss, interact and present the latest research in the fields of science, technology, engineering, innovation and other fields.
This is also an opportunity to gather knowledge from different fields to put science, technology and innovation into practice to create sustainable development for humanity. At the same time, it contributes to promoting research and training cooperation between Thai and Vietnamese universities in the fields of science, technology, engineering and innovation.

At the conference, Prof. Dr. Trang Si Trung, Principal of Nha Trang University said, Nha Trang university started as a university specializing in training in the field of fisheries. Up to now, it has become a prestigious multidisciplinary educational facility.
Besides a solid foundation in fisheries, aquaculture and marine economy, Nha Trang university constantly develops a network of training programs in technical fields, including mechanical engineering, electricity - electronics, information technology, food engineering, biotechnology, environment…
