Many new technologies are introduced at Agri Vietnam 2024

On the morning of June 12, the 4th International Exhibition and Conference on Machinery, Equipment, Materials, Chemicals, and Agricultural Products in Vietnam (Agri Vietnam 2024) officially opened.

The exhibition is an annual event organized by Minh Vi Advertising and Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. (VEAS) with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), the Ho Chi Minh City Nature and Environment Protection Association, and many domestic specialized agencies and organizations.

In his opening speech at the exhibition, Nguyen Nhu Cuong, Director General of the Crop Production Department (MARD), stated that with the goal of developing agriculture towards ecological, organic, circular, and low-carbon emissions, the management of trade, import-export, production, and use of agricultural materials is one of the important criteria contributing to the success of the agricultural sector.

Additionally, with the rapid development of agricultural production to meet market demands, the quality of agricultural materials has become increasingly important and is receiving greater attention from society.

Mr Nguyen Nhu Cuong assessed that Agri Vietnam 2024 is a practical and significant event, opening opportunities for domestic and international agricultural chemical production and business units to exchange information, share experiences, and explore markets. At the same time, it creates favourable conditions for state management agencies and domestic enterprises to access advanced and modern technologies, solutions, products, and potential partners in the research, application, development, production, and business of agricultural chemicals.

"This is an opportunity to strengthen the relationship and robust connections between Vietnamese and international enterprises. It also provides a chance to share regulations in the management field, helping businesses on both sides comply with regulations and facilitating cooperation, business, and trade", said Mr Nguyen Nhu Cuong, Director General of the Department of Crop Production. He expressed hope that after Agri Vietnam 2024, many scientific and technological advancements will be transferred to enterprises and farmers, and numerous successful business connections will be made between domestic and international companies.

Mr Nguyen Ba Vinh, Director of Minh Vi Advertising and Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. (VEAS), stated that Agri Vietnam 2024 attracted over 100 exhibitors from 14 countries and territories, including national pavilions from China, India...

In addition, the exhibition features the participation of Vietnamese fertilizer and plant protection companies. Notably, there is also an area dedicated to honouring exported rice and high-quality OCOP (One Commune One Product) products from various localities across the country.

Within the framework of the exhibition, thematic seminars are held to help businesses update on the latest technology trends and market developments.

According to Mr. Vinh, the exhibition contributes to creating additional opportunities for businesses to seek customers, promote business, and facilitate the transfer of technology between Vietnamese and international enterprises. It also helps businesses update on new products, techniques, and technologies and exchange experiences in building a green and circular economy towards sustainable development.

Mr. Vinh added that Agri Vietnam 2025 is expected to take place from June 25-27, 2025, with a scale projected to be three times larger than this year.

The exhibition runs from June 12-14 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (District 7) and is expected to attract over 4,000 domestic and international trade visitors.

Recently, at the Exhibition of Typical Rural Industrial Products in the Northern Region - Hanoi in 2024 and awarded certificates of typical rural industrial products at the regional level for 126 products and product sets, Hoa province Binh has 3 products, a set of products certified as typical rural industrial products, including: Linh Duoc Son Panax notoginseng tea of ​​ELIPHA Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Tan Thinh ward, Hoa Binh city); Pa Co Shan Tuyet tea from Phuong Huyen Co., Ltd. (Tan Thinh ward, Hoa Binh city) and the product set of Solanum procumbens extract and Tuyet Nhi black galangal extract from Tuyet Nhi Cooperative (Dong Bon village, Cao Duong commune, Luong Son district).

The above products are all typical OCOP products of Hoa Binh province that have achieved 4-star certification and achieved certification of typical rural industrial products of Hoa Binh province in 2023.
