Lang Son calls for support to consume congested agro-products

In the context of long congestions of agricultural products for export at border gates in Lang Son province, leading to risks of spoiling on a large scale, causing damage for businesses exporting agricultural products and production of farmers, businesses exporting agricultural products have requested Lang Son’s Department of Information and Communications to support the quick consumption of agricultural products through digital platforms and digital markets.

Whereby, The Department of Information and Communications has a written request for agencies, units and businesses to support the consumption of agricultural products.

Specifically, Lang Son’s Department of Information and Communications has requested Vietnam Post Corporation (VNPost), Viettel Post Joint Stock Corporation (ViettelPost), Cuccu.vn Technology Joint Stock Company to direct their branches and affiliated units to support businesses exporting agricultural products that are experiencing congestions at border gates in Lang Son province putting agricultural products on digital stores of digital platforms such as langson.voso.vn, langson.postmart.vn, cuccu.vn, and support consumption and distribution of agricultural products inside and outside the province, especially in Hanoi.

Additionally, developing communication plans with many forms, forming links of private purchases, texting to mobile numbers, organizing a network of shipping collaborators to consume agricultural products fastest with the best quality for buyers on e-commerce platforms.

Lang Son’s Department of Information and Communications also requested units to proactively contact agricultural products exporters experiencing congestion in Lang Son province to coordinate the consumption of agricultural products and forge agreement on the same purchase and sale prices on e-commerce platforms. Charging only the minimum cost for the transportation and consumption of agricultural products.

Additionally, the Department of Information and Communications also requested departments and branches and People's Committees of districts and cities to continue to popularize and purchase agricultural products on e-commerce platforms, achieving 100% of implementation with cadres, civil servants, public employees and laborers (including commune-level officials and civil servants) currently under management. The goal is to increase purchases of agricultural products on e-commerce platforms, encourage each cadre, civil servant, public employee and laborers to buy at least one product or goods on the e-commerce platform such as langson.postmart.vn and langson.voso.vn.
