More than 1,000 houses were damaged, over 1,300 ha of rice and crops were flooded, and the estimated material losses amounted to VND 190 billion. These figures reflect the heartbreaking consequences of Typhoon No. 3 for Bac Kan Province.

In particular, 151 households in three communes—Dong Lac, Xuan Lac, and Quang Bach—had to be evacuated urgently due to landslides and the high risk of further landslides. Many families have been forced to temporarily stay at government facilities, makeshift tents, or with relatives and neighbours, leaving behind homes they had spent a lifetime building.

With a spirit of mutual support, where "a piece during hunger is worth a pack during fullness," and responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the government, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Japi Foods coordinated with the Vietnam Agriculture Newspaper and other sponsors and benefactors to extend their hearts to the people of Bac Kan.

The gifts included essential items such as rice, dry food, and cash. Japi Foods alone contributed over 300 units of its "Hai San Rack Com" seafood product. A representative of the brand stated that "Hai San Rack Com" has a dry texture similar to shredded pork, which is familiar to local residents, making it easy to eat while providing high nutritional value from shrimp and salmon.

"The seafood with sprinkled rice product can be eaten immediately without preparation, making it suitable for households in flood-affected areas to store at home or for students to take to school, especially when everyone is exhausted physically and mentally after the storm. We hope that the joint efforts of Japi Foods and many other benefactors will serve as a source of encouragement for the people of Bac Kan to overcome difficulties and have confidence in the future", the Japi Foods representative shared.

After the rain, the sky brightens again, and it is in times of hardship that we see the heart of the Vietnamese people shining with the spirit of solidarity. It is hoped that with the support from sponsors like Japi Foods and many other kind-hearted individuals and organizations, the people of Bac Kan will find additional motivation to restore their lives after the storm.

These essential gifts not only help residents overcome immediate difficulties but also serve as encouragement, bringing hope for a brighter future. In difficult times, human kindness and unity illuminate the path forward, helping the people of Bac Kan stand strong, rebuild their lives, and pursue sustainable development.
