According to the Hue City People’s Committee, the establishment of the Bac Hai Van Landscape Protection Area aims to preserve and protect the area’s unique natural landscapes and ecosystems, which boast rich biodiversity with many endemic and rare species of flora and fauna distributed across the region.
The area also holds great potential for the development of forest environmental services, carbon absorption and storage, and greenhouse gas emission reduction, thereby contributing to green growth in the Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone.
