On the evening of May 30, within the framework of the ILDEX Vietnam 2024 Exhibition, the Vietnam Poultry Association, in collaboration with the Department of Livestock Production and the National Agricultural Extension Center (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development), organized the award ceremony for "Vietnam Livestock Gold Products" 2024.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Kim Dang, Deputy Director of the Department of Livestock Production (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development), noted that in recent years, the livestock sector in Vietnam has seen significant growth in both production and value, making important contributions to the socio-economic development of the country. The international market has also recognized Vietnam's livestock production capabilities.
"Despite being a country with a modest area, Vietnam has managed to provide food for 100 million people, essentially meeting domestic needs and beginning to export some products.
These achievements are due to the attention of the government, regulatory agencies, and especially the active participation of enterprises and farming households who have overcome difficulties to produce the best livestock products", said Deputy Director of the Department of Livestock Production Pham Kim Dang. He expressed hope that in the future, the associations and companies awarded today will continue to develop and contribute more to the overall development of the livestock industry.
