On the morning of September 9, Helen Solar Co., Ltd officially announced that its bird’s nest and raw Bird’s nest products had obtained the National Halal Product Certification.
The Vietnam Certification Center—Halal Certification Authority of Vietnam (HALCERT)—under the Directorate for Standards, Metrology, and Quality evaluated, appraised, and granted the certification.

Helen Bird’s Nest has the Halal certification number 05.25.E (TCVN: 12944:2020 and MS 1500:2019). This is a brand of Helen Solar Co., Ltd (established in 2022), chaired by CEO Bui Thi Huong.
Currently, the company has the Cam Ranh Bird’s Nest Cooperative Complex in Khanh Hoa, a processing factory for bird’s nest products, a product showroom in Ha Noi, and more than 50 agents across the North - Central - South regions. The company’s products meet international conditions for export to Islamic countries and other nations worldwide.
In June 2025, Helen Bird’s Nest was officially granted Halal certification for its bird’s nest and Raw Bird’s nest products. This certification is clearly shown on the labels and new packaging of each product. Each jar of ready-to-eat bird’s nest with 70% bird’s nest content transparently and clearly declares energy indicators and nutritional components.
The quality message embedded in each product affirms that Helen Bird’s Nest is a “made in Vietnam” product - a specialty of Cam Ranh, Khanh Hoa that has met the standards for export to the most demanding markets such as the US and the Middle East.

Mr. Ramlan Bin Osman, Head of the National Halal Certification Center (HALCERT), along with domestic and international experts and associates, spent two years accompanying the company, conducting dozens of field surveys at the production factory and the Cam Ranh Bird’s Nest Cooperative (Khanh Hoa) to directly experience, appraise, and monitor the development process of Helen Bird’s Nest products.
With fairness, objectivity, and transparency, the National Halal Certification Center (HALCERT) evaluated Helen Bird’s Nest across multiple criteria, such as: compliance with business regulations (on quality: having inspections, certifications, safe and friendly environment, creating jobs for local workers; protecting consumer rights, etc.).
Mr. Ramlan Bin Osman stated that Halal standards are not only for the Muslim community but also attract global consumers thanks to the cleanliness and safety of Halal-certified products.“Building an effective Halal system does not only rely on documents or processes, but must be guaranteed by the commitment of leadership and a professional team with the capability to execute. This is the decisive factor for businesses to maintain Halal certification and develop sustainably,” emphasized Mr. Ramlan Bin Osman.

The success of Helen Bird’s Nest lies not only in product quality but also in the dedication of the brand’s creator. Mrs. Bui Thi Huong – Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and Director of Helen Solar Co., Ltd – has worked with local residents to build bird’s nest houses, bird’s nest gardens, and bird’s nest cooperatives, creating stable livelihoods for hundreds of local workers.

According to Mrs. Huong, with a global vision, Halal certification is not just a title but also a challenge for Helen Bird’s Nest brand to perfect itself, always striving to deliver the best value to consumers.
Currently, Vietnam has classified the bird’s nest as a special livestock product. Out of 63 provinces, 42 have bird’s nest farming with more than 22,000 bird’s nest houses, of which Khanh Hoa province has about 450. Helen Bird’s Nest’s production is steadily growing, with its factories and facilities gradually being standardized to develop a Halal-standard product chain. Helen Bird’s Nest products are now present in the Dubai market and are expanding into Halal markets such as Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
