A map of Vietnamese rice will be designed at the end of the exhibition area with the theme "Vietnam Rice Route" - one of the main activities of the 2023 Vietnam Rice Festival.
Vietnam Rice Festival 2023 will take place in Vi Thanh City, Hau Giang province from December 11 to December 15, 2023, with the theme "Centennial journey of Vietnamese rice".
This is an event aimed at celebrating the 20th anniversary of the re-establishment of Hau Giang province (January 1, 2004 - January 1, 2024); Promoting the development of high-quality rice production, improving the value chain in rice production, gradually moving towards organic rice production, taking green growth as the foundation, ensuring food security, food safety and adaptation to climate change in the Mekong Delta.
According to the plan to organize the Vietnam Rice Festival in 2023 of the People's Committee of Hau Giang province, the Vietnamese rice map will be 9m high and 3m wide.
To make the Vietnam rice map, the implementing unit will collect speciality rice from 63 provinces and cities across the country. When completed, the Guinness Vietnam Records Organization will be invited to set the record.

The People's Committee of Hau Giang province will coordinate with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to preside over the implementation of Vietnam's rice map.
With the theme "Centennial journey of Vietnamese rice", Vietnam Rice Festival 2023 is expected to have about 500 booths introducing and displaying OCOP products and culinary programs from rice.
Through the series of events at the Vietnam Rice Festival, organizations and individuals, farmers in particular will have the opportunity to access knowledge, new technologies, and modern scientific and technical advances applied in the digital transformation of the agricultural sector.
