The conference attracted 40 businesses, cooperatives, and production facilities showcasing key agricultural products such as coffee, pepper, macadamia nuts, cashews, honey, fruits, bird’s nest, seafood, as well as OCOP products and other outstanding rural industrial products from the province.
During the event, procurement teams from Central Retail Vietnam’s fast-moving consumer goods and fresh food divisions directly held one-on-one meetings with local businesses, cooperatives and production facilities. Notable participants included Nhat Nong Gia Lai Co., Ltd.; Phuong Di Bee Honey Cooperative; An Binh Phat Agricultural Service Cooperative; Gia Lai United Agricultural Cooperative; B-coffee Bien Ho High-Quality Coffee Co., Ltd.; Truong Dat Gia Lai F&B Trading and Production Co., Ltd.; and Ia Hiao Agriculture and Forestry Cooperative.
A highlight of the conference was the signing ceremony of memoranda of understanding (MOUs) between Central Retail Vietnam and several Gia Lai businesses and cooperatives, including Phuong Di Bee Honey Cooperative; Truong Dat Gia Lai Trading and Production Co., Ltd.; Hachi Vietnam Joint Stock Company; Huong Dat An Phu One Member Co., Ltd.; and several local household businesses.
“The company is currently operating GO! Quy Nhon Shopping Center and Hypermarket, as well as mini go! An Nhon, effectively. Central Retail regularly works alongside Gia Lai authorities through activities such as supporting watermelon consumption, reaching 206 tons sold per day during the campaign in early March 2026.
Nguyen Dinh Kha, Deputy Director of the Gia Lai Department of Industry and Trade, expressed hope that the conference would contribute to trade promotion and export promotion for key agricultural products while encouraging the formation of production-consumption linkage chains across the province.
The ultimate goal is to help businesses and cooperatives connect directly with distribution systems, strengthen information exchange, foster investment cooperation in production and supply chains, expand markets, and bring agricultural products closer to consumers. The event also aims to boost purchasing power, stabilize markets, and support Gia Lai’s socio-economic development.
Central Retail Vietnam is one of the country’s leading retailers in the food sector, operating supermarket and grocery chains such as GO!, Tops Market, and Lan Chi Mart. Through its extensive retail network across Vietnam, the company provides consumers with a wide range of fresh produce, processed foods, and locally sourced agricultural products.
Central Retail focuses on enhancing food accessibility, supporting Vietnamese suppliers, and promoting sustainable consumption. The company also works closely with local producers to improve product quality and expand market opportunities through modern retail channels.
