GC Food has set a revenue target of VND 573 billion

(VAN) On April 12th, GC Food Joint Stock Company (GC Food, stock code GCF) held its annual shareholders meeting, setting a goal to double its profit in 2024.

GC Food is renowned as the "king of aloe vera" with ownership of a processing plant with a capacity of 35,000 tons per year on an area of ​​20,000m2 in Thanh Hai Industrial Park (Ninh Thuan), making it the largest aloe vera processing plant in Vietnam at present.

Currently, the company's aloe vera products have been exported to 20 countries around the world, including many demanding markets such as Japan, South Korea, Europe, and the United States.

In addition, GC Food's ecosystem also includes Sun & Wind Farm, which has achieved GLOBAL G.A.P certification specializing in farming and breeding with products such as watermelons, grapes, apples, pears, cattle, and sheep.

Furthermore, the company also owns a quality coconut jelly production plant (located in Ho Nai Industrial Park, Dong Nai province) with a closed-loop process certified ISO 22000:2005; FSSC; HALAL.

In 2023, GC Food's total assets reached VND 672 billion; GC Food's net revenue was VND 475 billion, pre-tax profit reached VND 41.5 billion, an increase of 16% compared to the same period last year. The compound annual growth rate over the past 4 years from 2020-2023 was 31%.

GC Food's GCF shares have shown stable business results, maintaining good growth momentum. The share price has increased by nearly 8% on the stock exchange over the past year.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Thu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GC Food, in recent years, GC Food has invested in raw material areas, ensuring abundant raw materials and good material costs, thereby increasing gross profit margin. Therefore, GC Food boldly sets the goal of doubling its profit in 2024.

Specifically, in 2024, GC Food aims to achieve a net revenue of VND 573 billion, a pre-tax profit of VND 65 billion, and an after-tax profit of VND 52 billion, with a compound annual growth rate of over 30% over the next 5 years.

In 2024, amidst the strong growth of the digital economy and green transformation trends, GC Food has outlined an accelerated strategy focusing on developing its core business areas with an emphasis on technology enhancement, expanding production, and developing raw material regions.

The aim is to scale up and enhance business efficiency, becoming a leading company in producing and processing high-quality food products to meet both export demands and domestic markets.

In particular, there's a special focus on developing large-scale aloe vera raw material regions, expanding tissue culture nurseries for aloe vera, manufacturing cosmetics from aloe vera, and producing aloe vera juice.

"We will carry out the coconut jelly factory project in Ben Tre; establish a new company, Saigon Tropical Drinks Joint Stock Company - Saigon Tropical Drinks to produce and process high-tech agricultural products", shared Mr Nguyen Van Thu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GC Food.

GC Food commenced trading on the Hanoi Stock Exchange (UPCOM) on December 20, 2022, with 26 million shares listed under the stock code GCF, with a reference price of VND 12,000 per share.
