Mr. Le Van Dong, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tra Vinh province, said that this is the first order of Tra Vinh Farm Co., Ltd. to export officially to the US market. Among them, 19 products in the food group achieved 5-star OCOP recognition in 2023. Tra Vinh province has 3 products and these products are all exploited from coconuts, including: Fresh coconut nectar, coconut flower sugar and coconut wax fibres.

Tra Vinh currently has the second-largest coconut growing area in the country, just behind Ben Tre province.
