Discovery Channel brings Vietnamese coffee to the global airwaves

(VAN) On the evening of November 24, the documentary 'The Tao of Coffee' was broadcast on Discovery TV channel in Australia and New Zealand.

This is the first time a documentary about the aspirations and efforts of the Vietnamese coffee industry has been broadcast globally.

With beautiful footage and a unique storytelling style from a famous media company, the 45-minute "The Tao of Coffee" has brought international audiences an interesting story and a comprehensive perspective of the Vietnamese coffee industry with the desire to shape Vietnamese coffee culture globally.

“The Tao of Coffee” was broadcast on the first Discovery international television channel in two countries, Australia and New Zealand, on the evening of November 24, 2023 at 10:25 p.m. (local time). has brought many emotions and pleasant surprises to coffee enthusiasts around the world.

The interesting story about Vietnam, the world's coffee powerhouse, accounting for more than half of the global Robusta coffee supply, is being filmed and broadcast globally by Discovery for the first time.

It is known that this is the first documentary film about coffee culture and coffee philosophy from Vietnam that is produced by the famous global media company Warner Bros. Discovery cooperates with Trung Nguyen Legend Group to produce with much enthusiasm. Discovery - the world's leading film production brand - took more than a year to research, come up with theme ideas and implement the film.

The film's post-production work was carried out in 2 months before being officially broadcast in Australia, New Zealand, and will premiere in Vietnam, Korea, Japan... on November 30, 2023 at 7:10 pm, 6:10 pm (BKK/JKT) on Discovery channel.

In the film, Discovery identifies that the land of Buon Ma Thuot, Dak Lak province, has perfect conditions to produce high-quality Robusta coffee beans, and is gradually developing into a coffee city of the world. In particular, Buon Ma Thuot and Dak Lak are introduced as key lands of the coffee powerhouse of Vietnam, the second largest coffee exporting country and accounting for more than half of the world's Robusta coffee supply.
