DHN joint venture with green economic model in agriculture in Tay Ninh

(VAN) Chairman of Hung Nhon Group Vu Manh Hung shared the investment orientation in high-tech agriculture at the announcement ceremony of the Decision approving the planning of Tay Ninh province on May 5.

On the afternoon of May 5, the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee held a conference to announce the Prime Minister's Decision approving the planning of Tay Ninh province for the 2021–2030 period, with a vision to 2050. Attending the conference were Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and leaders of Ministries, central branches, and localities.

To be more specific, by 2030, Tay Ninh strives to become a dynamically developed, civilized locality with a good living environment and good adaptation to climate change, and a place worth visiting and living in. With a vision to 2050, Tay Ninh will become a province with a developed economy based on clean industry and high-tech agriculture; trade and tourism will develop; and it will be the international trade gateway for the Southeast region and the whole country.

At the same time, Tay Ninh is planned to become a province with an effective public administration system, a friendly business environment, and an attractive living environment based on a sustainable and diverse ecosystem. To achieve this goal, Provincial Planning has identified seven of the province’s development breakthroughs, including infrastructure development, human resource development, institutions, developing small and medium enterprises, sustainable development: Green Tay Ninh, tourism development, and service economic development.

Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hung Nhon Group, gave a speech to share at the conference. According to Mr. Hung, Tay Ninh has converged the three conditions of "clement weather, favorable terrain, and concord among the people" and is fully capable of completing the goal of becoming a dynamically developed, civilized locality with a good living environment and good adaptation to climate change and becoming a place worth visiting and living in by 2030.

In particular, agriculture develops in the direction of value chain, quality, efficiency, and meeting international standards to expand markets, improve productivity, and increase profits through promoting the application of advanced technology. Mr. Hung said that, in the coming time, Hung Nhon Group will always consider Tay Ninh as a key priority locality in the Group's development strategy.

Previously, on June 2, 2023, within the framework of the "Businesses Connection Forum to Invest and Develop a High-Tech Agricultural Ecosystem in Tay Ninh Province in 2023," the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee, De Heus Group (the Netherlands), and Hung Nhon Group signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoU) on surveying, researching, and investing in high-tech agricultural projects with a total capital investment of about VND 2,500 billion in Tan Chau district. "To show our determination and professionalism, phase 1 of the project was broken ground just 1 month after signing the MoU with Tay Ninh province," Mr. Hung said.

As of now, after more than 10 months of construction and completion, on May 19, Hung Nhon Group will proudly organize the inauguration ceremony of the "DHN Tay Ninh high-tech application breeding area." In parallel with this inauguration ceremony, the Group will continue to hold a simultaneous groundbreaking ceremony for seven key projects belonging to the DHN Tay Ninh high-tech agricultural complex chain, including breed farm systems, export broiler farms, and food processing plants.

The Chairman of Hung Nhon Group added that "Not stopping there, the ceremony on May 19 is also a ceremony to recognize the disease-free zone in Tay Ninh province and announce the plan to export poultry products to the Halal market." With very high determination when implementing projects in Tay Ninh province, Mr. Vu Manh Hung also emphasized that Hung Nhon always affirms its commitment and contribution to the local common development and prosperity, contributing to implementing Tay Ninh's goal of green growth and sustainable growth according to the Decision approving the planning of Tay Ninh province for the 2021–2030 period, with a vision to 2050.

According to Mr. Hung, Hung Nhon's direction in building a high-value linkage chain and applying high technology in agriculture is completely consistent with the Prime Minister's Decision approving the planning of Tay Ninh province for the 2021–2030 period, with a vision to 2050. Determining the mission of building agriculture towards a value chain, Hung Nhon and De Heus Group have built a closed value chain "from farm to table," including animal feed and animal nutrition production, construction of barns and equipment, cattle and poultry farming, slaughtering and food processing, veterinary medicines and vaccines, organic fertilizers, and waste treatment solutions in livestock farming in a sustainable direction. "The value chain we build is estimated to have a revenue value of up to USD 5 billion by 2030," Mr. Hung affirmed.

All projects that Hung Nhon has been implementing in the Central Highlands or Tay Ninh apply 100% high technology according to the international standards of the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium. Besides, the projects also apply environmentally friendly and energy-saving measures in livestock farming and crop production in an organic direction, meeting the technical standards and norms of Vietnam and specialized international organizations.
