These activities have contributed to enhancing Vietnam's international image and strengthening the traditional friendship between the peoples of Vietnam and Brazil.
The Association's Executive Committee has completed the compilation of the Portuguese–Vietnamese Thematic Dictionary. As of now, the Association is the first and only friendship organization to have completed and published such a dictionary. According to experts, with 20,000 words across 17 thematic categories, the Portuguese–Vietnamese Thematic Dictionary will serve as an effective tool for Vietnamese individuals, organizations, and businesses working, living, or studying in Brazil, as well as for Brazilian friends, partners, and organizations visiting or working in Vietnam.
Regarding the orientations and tasks for the 2025–2030 term, delegates attending the Congress reached consensus that the Association would continue to promote tourism connectivity, cultural and people-to-people exchanges, and strengthen cooperation between localities and friendship organizations of the two countries, aiming to deepen mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples and promote the role of people-to-people diplomacy in socio-economic development.
In addition, the Association will expand its partner network and promote cooperation with youth and women’s organizations, universities, research institutes, non-governmental organizations, businesses, and business associations in Brazil. It will also mobilize Brazilian organizations and individuals to support Vietnam in multilateral forums; build ties with the Vietnamese community in Brazil; enhance information sharing and communication regarding the Party’s and State’s policies for overseas Vietnamese; and encourage the Vietnamese community to comply with local laws, maintain ties with the homeland, and contribute to fostering the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
The Congress elected a 35-member Executive Committee of the Vietnam–Brazil Friendship and Cooperation Association for the third term (2025–2030). Comrade Nguyen Hoang Hiep, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment, was appointed as President of the Association for the 2025–2030 term.

Expressing congratulations to the Executive Committee of the Vietnam–Brazil Friendship and Cooperation Association for the 2025–2030 term, Mr. Phan Anh Son, President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, emphasized that building on past achievements, the Association would continue implementing practical activities to strengthen people-to-people diplomacy between Vietnam and Brazil further. He also called for expanded partnerships and deeper connections between businesses of both countries.
