Mr Pham Dinh Ngai, CEO of Sokfarm Company, has announced that the company's coconut flower honey products have just successfully exported the first order to the Australian market.

This batch includes 4 main products: organic concentrated coconut flower nectar, organic coconut flower nectar sauce, organic coconut flower nectar sugar, and organic coconut flower nectar vinegar, totalling 4,000 bottles and bags.

As per the plan, the company will continue to export the second batch to Australia in two weeks. Therefore, Australia has become the fifth major export market for coconut flower honey products from Tra Vinh province.

Prior to this, Sokfarm had already exported its coconut flower honey products to international markets including Japan, the Netherlands, Germany, and the United States. The company currently owns a 20-ha coconut material area certified organic by international organizations such as USDA (US), EU (Europe), JAS (Japan), and Canada Organic (Canada). Additionally, the company is collaborating to source coconut nectar materials from 35 households in the Tieu Can district area.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tra Vinh province, Sokfarm's coconut flower nectar sauce product has been approved by the provincial People's Committee with a 5-star potential rating. The province is finalizing the product dossier to submit to the Central-Level Council (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) for evaluation and recognition as a national OCOP product.

Tra Vinh currently has nearly 27,400 ha of coconut, ranking second in the country after Ben Tre. In recent years, the province has been creating favourable conditions and encouraging enterprises to develop deep processing industries to establish a stable consumption market for coconut trees.
