Billionaire Tran Ba Duong said that, Thaco Group will be 25 years old in 2022, so this is a new journey milestone. Billionaire Tran Ba Duong shared that 2022 is forecasted to be a challenging year, for which Thaco must build a solid foundation for the next stage of development, which is to become the leading multi-industry group in ASEAN in the near future in the context of regional and world integration.
Up to now, the total number of employees of Thaco Group has reached 60,000 people. All activities of Thaco can have a good or bad influence on the operation of an industry, a locality, and the economy and society of the country.
Therefore, billionaire Tran Ba Duong reminded his associates: "I want you to always be aware of the representativeness of a business not only in products or brands, but also in each employee through their behavior in work and daily life.”
For the agricultural sector, Thaco owns a 26.7% stake and operates all production and business activities of HAGL Agrico from 2021, with a total area of 36,050 hectares in Laos and Cambodia. In 2022, fruit output is 177,000 tons and more than 12,000 tons of rubber latex with expected revenue of VND 2,400 billion.
Mechanization has been promoted in Thaco's agricultural production.
Billionaire Tran Ba Duong revealed that in 2022, THAGRICO will set up the General Manager's Office in Gia Lai to manage THAGRICO's production and business value chain and provide administrative support for HAGL Agrico. At the same time, a new policy is being implemented to decentralize governance from THAGRICO General Manager's Office to Agricultural Complexes/Companies; Factory/ Farm to ensure efficient operation of the apparatus after restructuring.
One of the goals that billionaire Tran Ba Duong wishes to contribute to the agricultural sector is to develop a team of highly qualified and technical personnel, to recruit and train local personnel, in combination with a team of domestic and foreign experts and technicians to enhance the value of Vietnamese agricultural products.
