Mr. Le Quoc Thanh, Director of the National Agricultural Extension Center, shared that Dabaco Group is synchronously implementing many advanced scientific and technological solutions to create a clean food chain from "farm to table," which is an issue that the agricultural extension system has been implementing strongly for many years.

Thus, the two units share the same goal of providing producers with complete information about advanced livestock solutions (seed solutions, feed, care techniques, etc.). This aims to create favorable opportunities for farmers to access, select, and apply successfully to increase production efficiency.

According to Mr. Thanh, currently, consumers pay attention not only to product quality but also to the process and origin of creating the product. Therefore, in order for livestock products to stand firmly on the market, disease-free livestock zones and regions must be established with clear traceability at all stages.

To do this, it is first mandatory to change the awareness of farmers by helping them access new solutions in the most complete manner. Scientific and technological advances can be created by the state sector, institutes, and schools, as well as by businesses. The coordination between the National Agricultural Extension Center and Dabaco Group will help mobilize the maximum resources and strengths of the two units in the public-private sector to jointly bring safe, economical, and effective livestock solutions to many farmers.

Mr. Le Quoc Thanh said that, with a system throughout from central to local levels, agricultural extension forces are always ready to accompany businesses in improving the capacity of farmers. Therefore, right after the two sides sign the memorandum of understanding, they will immediately embark on developing detailed coordination contents. In the immediate future, they will jointly build practical models applying all the advanced livestock solutions that are Dabaco’s strengths so that farmers have a basis to fully identify and compare the effectiveness of advanced livestock solutions. Thereby, a mindset of proactive learning, application, and replication is formed.

Mr. Nguyen Nhu So, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dabaco Group, shared that the requirements of domestic and foreign markets for livestock product lines are now increasingly stricter. Therefore, if advanced solutions are not applied to livestock farming and all stages in the entire process are not strictly controlled, the livestock products cannot compete with other product lines and may even be eliminated.

Mr. Nguyen Nhu So, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dabaco Group, said that if there is the companionship and support of the agricultural extension system, it will be very favorable to build close linkage chains with farmers. Photo: Trung Quan.

The reality is that livestock farmers are ready to access new, effective solutions, but the official information reaching them is not really complete, leading to the mixture of seeds, feed, and disease prevention materials not ensuring the quality that causes huge consequences. Meanwhile, agricultural extension is the force closest to farmers and is diligently bringing effective solutions into production. Therefore, if businesses have the companionship and support of the state agricultural extension system, it will be more favorable to build close linkage chains with farmers.

According to Mr. So, when coordinating with the National Agricultural Extention Center, Dabaco will develop specific support policies on seeds, feed, techniques, etc. in areas where the model is deployed so that people have a basis to identify and compare. Agricultural extension forces will guide farmers on techniques to develop biosafety farming, disease prevention, circular farming, and environmental protection.

Currently, the issue of animal welfare is of concern to the whole world; this is one of the most important factors for Vietnamese livestock products to reach the global market. Thus, Dabaco Group hopes that the National Agricultural Extention Center, with its strengths, resources, and experience, will actively support businesses and producers to thoroughly understand and perform this work well.
