(VAN) Due to heatwaves and water shortages, weed outbreaks are surging in the Mekong Delta’s summer-autumn rice crop. Dong Thap is ramping up early-season weed management to cut costs and safeguard yields.
(VAN) Can Tho harvested about 20% of the total area of winter-spring rice crop. Yield of rice is high, however, due to high production costs, profits dropped.
(VAN) Farmers in Binh Thuan have increased the area under this model to about 21,548 hectares, reaping the advantages of the cheap way of irrigation on plants.
