Within the framework of the Green Economy Forum & Exhibition 2024 (GEFE 2024) in Ho Chi Minh City, the Swedish Embassy and Business Sweden organized the Swedish Green Exhibition to introduce innovative green solutions to meet Vietnam's urgent needs for sustainable development and circular economy.
The event aims to connect Vietnamese leaders with Swedish companies, providing a platform to enhance Vietnam's green initiatives with practical solutions tailored to local challenges.
The exhibition focuses on renewable energy, emission reduction, the circular economy, and new technologies, with the goal of helping Vietnam strengthen its global position and attract investment.
Swedish Ambassador Johan Ndisi said that the Swedish Green Exhibition demonstrates Sweden's commitment to sustainable development and wish to promote deeper cooperation with Vietnam for a greener future.
The Swedish Green Exhibition is not just an exhibition but also a collaborative space to support Vietnam's green transformation, with the participation of leading companies such as Atlas Copco, Ecolearn, Ericsson, H&M, Hitachi Energy, Husqvarna, and Trelleborg.

"All participating businesses are committed to promoting sustainable practices for mutual success. By showcasing our solutions, we hope to inspire closer collaboration between Sweden and Vietnam," said Swedish Ambassador Johan Ndisi.
The Swedish Green Exhibition showcases cutting-edge solutions from the 5G solution, smart grids, and energy storage systems to polymer technologies, food packaging, generators, pumps, garden equipment, and forestry, which helps increase efficiency and climate resilience and support Vietnam's sustainable development goals.
Sweden is the second-ranked country in the world for innovation and has the most pioneering, innovative businesses, aiming for achieving net zero emissions by 2045.
"We are proud to share our experience and best practices with Vietnam. Cooperation is the key to solving the problems of climate change, and we aim to connect Sweden with key stakeholders in Vietnam's sustainable development market," said Swedish Ambassador Johan Ndisi.
On this occasion, the Swedish Embassy also launched the handbook "Sweden-Vietnam Business Footprint," with business guidance information to promote cooperation between the two countries.
