Labor Hero Thai Huong has successfully pioneered large-scale agricultural projects using Vietnamese intelligence, natural resources, and cutting-edge global technology to promote sustainable agriculture.
In her role as the founder of TH Group, Thai Huong has directed the construction of this enterprise to become a model of sustainable development, leading in contributions to green economy, circular economy, and intellectual economy in Vietnam. All TH projects rigorously implement a sustainable development strategy based on international GRI standards with six pillars: Nutrition - Health, Environment, Education, Humanity, Community, and Animal Welfare.
TH Group has set targets to directly reduce greenhouse gas emissions at farms and plants by an average of 15% per year and to reduce the overall direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions per average product unit by 15% per year. However, in 2022, TH farm systems reduced emissions by an average of over 20% per product unit, surpassing the set targets.
Thai Huong aims for TH to become one of the prominent high-tech agricultural groups in Vietnam, pioneering the establishment of a green production system and a sustainable economy. TH focuses on three main activities: reducing greenhouse gas emissions, transitioning to the use of green and renewable energy, and absorbing greenhouse gases.
All TH projects rigorously implement a sustainable development strategy based on international GRI standards with six pillars: Nutrition - Health, Environment, Education, Humanity, Community, and Animal Welfare.
To transition to the use of green energy, starting with the first clean milk project, TH invested in the world's most advanced technology. To date, all TH activities adhere to the principles of using environmentally friendly materials, green energy, and renewable energy. On the roofs of clean milk factories and dairy farms, TH has installed solar power systems. In 2022, TH farms connected to the power grid generated approximately 7 million kWh (meeting nearly 10% of the electricity consumption at the farm units), equivalent to reducing and recovering over 4,500 tons of CO2 annually.
Thai Huong is also a leader who has introduced a strategy for the development of green planting areas (including protective and newly planted forests) to absorb and compensate for the CO2 produced during the production process, actively contributing to the NET ZERO process in Vietnam. Currently, Thai Huong is advising investments in sustainable agricultural development projects in Northwestern, Western Nghe An, the Central Highlands, regenerating forests, preserving and exploiting native herbs to help local people develop their economy, eradicate poverty, and conserve the environment.
Not only in Vietnam, but the successful sustainable development models of Thai Huong's economic initiatives are also being expanded with major projects in Russia, Australia, etc. In her role as the Chairwoman of the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Association, Thai Huong has made significant contributions to promoting the activities of women entrepreneurs and sustainable development in Vietnam.
