R.E.P Biotech wins two awards at VinaFIS Award 2026

(VAN) LOKSpo and POND-Safe products of R.E.P Biotech were honored with the Gold and Silver Logos at the VinaFIS Award 2026, affirming the company's development orientation toward biological solutions and nutrition in aquaculture.

R.E.P Biotechnology Joint Stock Company (R.E.P Biotech) has been honored at the 5th Viet Nam Fisheries Golden Quality Award (VinaFIS Award 2026), held within the framework of the 1st Viet Nam International Fisheries Technology Expo (VinaFIS Expo 2026) in Ho Chi Minh City.

Specifically, the LOKSpo product was awarded the Gold Logo in the aquaculture feed additives category, while POND-Safe received the Silver Logo in the biological products for aquatic environments category. These two product groups play a critical role in aquaculture, contributing to improving resistance in farmed species, controlling pond environments, and optimizing production efficiency.

LOKSpo is a specialized biological product combining the selected strain Bacillus subtilis REP 2106-GT with biological compounds, helping to inhibit the activation of EHP spores, thereby blocking the polar tube extrusion mechanism—the initial step by which microsporidia invade hepatopancreatic cells.

POND-Safe is a specialized biological product for treating pond water and sediment, capable of inhibiting the growth of pathogenic bacteria and improving pond environmental quality. The microbial strain Bacillus subtilis REP 2106-WT, featuring unique biological characteristics tailored for aquatic environments, does not compete for oxygen with shrimp and fish, eliminates Vibrio bacteria, suppresses algal blooms, and decomposes suspended organic matter in the pond environment.

According to the professional council, the award-winning products met stringent criteria in terms of quality, efficiency, and practical applicability. Being honored in both product categories underscores the company’s strategic direction in developing biological solutions aligned with the trend toward safe production and reduced reliance on chemicals.

The 5th Viet Nam Fisheries Golden Quality Award, organized by the Viet Nam Fisheries Society, aims to honor outstanding products and technologies in the sector. Award categories are evaluated based on a comprehensive set of criteria, including quality, economic efficiency, innovation, and the ability to meet market demands.

The event was part of a series of activities of the 2026 National Conference on Fisheries Science and Technology and Fisheries Surveillance and the 1st Viet Nam International Fisheries Technology Expo (VinaFIS Expo 2026), held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC). The event series brought together hundreds of delegates, enterprises, and exhibition booths from both domestic and international participants, covering the entire fisheries value chain.

The conference focused on reviewing outcomes in the 2021–2025 period while setting orientations for science and technology programs in the coming phase, with key areas including aquaculture, nutrition, biotechnology, disease management, and digital transformation. All themes aim for developing the fisheries sector toward sustainability, a circular economy, and enhanced value.

In parallel, the 1st Viet Nam International Fisheries Technology Expo (VinaFIS Expo 2026) served as a platform for connection and technology transfer, facilitating collaboration among enterprises, scientists, and international partners and supporting market expansion.

The honor of LOKSpo and POND-Safe products highlights a clear trend in today's fisheries sector: prioritizing solutions that are environmentally friendly, improve aquaculture efficiency, and move toward sustainable development. This also provides a foundation for enterprises to continue investing in product refinement and strengthening their competitiveness in the coming time.

R.E.P Biotechnology Joint Stock Company (R.E.P Biotech) is among the leading companies in Viet Nam that has chosen biotechnology as its core field of operation. With substantial investment in advanced technological processes and modern equipment systems, R.E.P Biotech has continuously grown, becoming a reputable manufacturer of probiotics, nutritional products, and immune-enhancing solutions for livestock in both domestic and international markets.

Raw materials used in production are carefully selected by R.E.P from reputable suppliers at home and abroad. The entire production process is carried out under strict supervision by the quality control department. A modern laboratory serves as the center for researching and culturing pure beneficial bacterial strains, breeding, and manufacturing probiotics. As of now, the company has launched a wide range of nutritional supplements designed for disease prevention and treatment in animals and productivity enhancement, as well as premix lines for livestock and poultry. These products have established strong brands in the livestock market through distribution channels.
