The EY–Bank of Singapore ASEAN Entrepreneurial Excellence Award is part of the annual EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Singapore Awards, organized by the Ernst & Young (EY) global auditing and consulting group in collaboration with the Bank of Singapore.
This award honors individuals and enterprises across ASEAN who have made outstanding contributions not only to business performance but also to social impact, innovation, and sustainable development. Honorees must meet rigorous evaluation criteria, including entrepreneurial spirit, regional vision, community impact, sustainability, and international reputation.
The ASEAN Entrepreneurial Excellence Award 2025 was presented to Labor Hero Thai Huong, Founder and Chairwoman of the Strategic Council of TH Group and General Director of Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Bac A Bank), in the context of Viet Nam undergoing a strong transformation. Together with other Southeast Asian nations, the country is demonstrating an impressive post-Covid-19 pandemic economic recovery, contributing to the region’s projected growth of 4.2% in 2025.

According to the official press release published in international media, Mr. Liew Nam Soon, EY Asia East Deputy Regional Managing Partner, remarked, "Ms. Thai Huong's aspiration to provide people with safe, healthy food products and high-quality healthcare and education services is truly inspiring. Guided by a steadfast belief in sustainable development, TH Group's investment projects have become a model of integrating technology and management science to achieve the highest productivity, optimal cost efficiency, and international product quality."
At the award ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh, First Secretary to the Chairwoman of the Strategic Council, who is also responsible for product research and development in TH Group's food division, shared, "This is a special moment not only for her personally but also for the pride of TH Group and Vietnamese entrepreneurs in general."
According to Mr. Thanh, one of Ms. Thai Huong's well-known sayings is that "Humanistic philosophy is the guiding light that illuminates the brand." Over 15 years ago, when the melamine contamination scandal erupted in China, putting millions of children at risk of kidney failure, her heart ached, as at that time in Viet Nam, only 8% of the milk market was fresh milk, while 92% consisted of reconstituted milk powder. Out of a simple yet profound maternal aspiration, she founded TH true MILK, with the mission to bring Vietnamese children fresh, natural milk.
Since then, in response to pressing issues of food safety and non-communicable pandemics such as diabetes and obesity, she and TH Group have initiated a series of “revolutions,” from the fresh milk revolution to the no-added-sugar product revolution using natural sweeteners and the Vietnamese nutrition revolution. In 2020, Ms. Thai Huong was awarded the noble title of Labor Hero in the Renovation Era by the Government of Viet Nam, in recognition of her excellent achievements.

"Today, it is truly moving to see Ms. Thai Huong once again honored by EY and the Bank of Singapore with the ASEAN Entrepreneurial Excellence Award. On behalf of Labor Hero Thai Huong and the entire TH Group, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to EY ASEAN, EY Singapore, the Bank of Singapore, and all those who have placed their trust in and accompanied TH on this journey. This is not only an honor for her but also an inspiration for the next generation to continue moving forward," Mr. Thanh affirmed.
In recent years, Labor Hero Thai Huong has been repeatedly recognized internationally for her outstanding contributions. In June 2025, she was named Outstanding Leader in Global Sustainable Development 2025 at the Global Brands Awards, organized by Global Brands Magazine (United Kingdom). Earlier, in 2023, Ms. Thai Huong was honored by the Le Fonti Global Awards (Italy) in the Global Sustainable Development category as Leader of the Year and was recognized by the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) as one of the "17 Vietnamese Faces of Action for Sustainable Development."
The Founder of TH Group was also the first and only Vietnamese representative named among Asia’s Top 10 "Women in Sustainability 2021" by CSRWorks International and received the Outstanding Achievement Award for Community Contribution in Dubai (UAE). For many consecutive years, she has been listed by Forbes among Asia's 50 Most Powerful Businesswomen and has received numerous prestigious honors, including the Powerful Businesswoman Award at the World Knowledge Forum (WKF), the Stevie Award for Best Female Entrepreneur, and the Asia's Outstanding Entrepreneur Award.

As Founder and Chairwoman of the Strategic Council of TH Group, over the past 15 years, Ms. Thai Huong has pursued the philosophy of "a glass of milk strengthens a nation" and an aspiration to serve the community, ensure food safety, improve public health, and for the Vietnamese Stature. She has made significant contributions to Viet Nam by promoting the establishment of standards and norms aligned with international integration in the dairy and food industries and by initiating programs such as the School Milk Program, School Meal Program, and School Nutrition Program. Under her leadership, TH Group has reached out to the world through investment projects, such as the Dairy Farming and Milk Processing Complex in the Russian Federation, high-tech agriculture in Australia and Indonesia, and market expansion into China.
With a strategic vision and value-based approach, Labor Hero Thai Huong is leading the enterprise toward becoming a typical representative of Viet Nam’s clean fresh milk industry while contributing to shaping the future of high-tech and sustainable agriculture across the region. TH Group has become a model in Viet Nam for the green economy and circular economy, making efforts to implement emission-reducing solutions throughout its entire production chain, from grass to table.
Founded in 2009 with the aspiration to pave the way for the health of the community and for true happiness, TH Group has built and operated a closed value chain, from green pastures to clean milk.
The high-tech, closed dairy farm complex of TH Group was recognized as the largest in the world in 2020. TH's efforts have boosted the share of liquid milk processed from pure fresh milk in Vietnam from 8% in 2008 to 67% today. In addition to its projects in food, beverages, dairy, and fruit juices, TH Group has also made a strong mark with its education and healthcare projects.
