A range of social welfare and environmental activities are planned within the framework of the program, including the presentation of national flags; donations of freshwater storage tanks, solar-powered lighting, waste bins, and water purification systems to schools; scholarships for disadvantaged students; a beach cleanup drive; and tree planting at Cua Lo Beach.

Meeting participants also offered input on refining the content of the National Forum and Workshop programs, with discussions centering on solutions for environmental protection, circular economy development, the blue marine economy, the carbon market, and marine ecosystem conservation.

In his closing remarks, Deputy Minister Dang Ngoc Diep emphasized that 2026 represents a year of substantial legislative workload for the Ministry, including the revision and supplementation of three major laws: the Law on Marine and Island Resources and Environment, the Law on Environmental Protection, and the Land Law. In that context, he stressed that organizing forums and workshops to gather input from 34 localities, ministries, agencies, experts, and scientists on legal management and legislative content carries critical importance, helping to build broad consensus before and after the laws are passed by the National Assembly.

The Deputy Minister called on all participating units to coordinate closely to ensure the highest quality of content and activities across the event series, fostering alignment among government agencies at all levels.

Deputy Minister Diep commended the preparations made by the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper and affiliated ministry units, noting that despite a tight timeline, preparations are substantially complete and ready for implementation. He nonetheless urged relevant departments to conduct a thorough review of all detailed program content, ensuring that every document and piece of material is properly vetted before release. All activities, he insisted, must be substantive, engaging, and innovative.

He placed particular emphasis on unified communications standards, specifying that the use of logos, imagery, and brand colors must be consistent nationwide, avoiding discrepancies between localities. Guidance documents will be distributed to all ministries, agencies, and localities to ensure uniform implementation; in Nghe An specifically, consistency must be maintained from the provincial level down to communes and wards.

On logistics and hospitality, the Deputy Minister called for thorough preparation, including well-arranged accommodations and meals for delegates, detailed reception scripts, clear assignment of responsibilities to individual staff, and the deployment of a dedicated team to guide both domestic and international participants throughout the event series.
