"Schools are one of the priority locations that the campaign aims to send to future generations, spreading more strongly the message of green living, living close to nature," said Khoa, sharing that planting trees not only helps the school environment become cleaner but also encourages students to be aware of caring for, protecting, loving the environment, understanding the meaning of protecting trees and spreading that spirit to everyone around.

According to Khoa, the green journey will not stop within the framework of the ceremony but will continue to spread throughout the country. Each tree planted is a green lung for the planet, a commitment of the young generation to the country's sustainable future.

"I call on all union members, students, units, businesses, and individuals to join hands and contribute to the campaign "Million Trees for the National Environment," Khoa emphasized.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Quyen, President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment, hopes the school will contribute a small part to national commitments on environmental protection and climate change adaptation according to international agreements such as the Paris Agreement on climate change. Increasing trees also helps Vietnam achieve its goals of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable development.

"Through the campaign, I call on cadres, teachers, especially students to clearly understand their responsibilities and promote their professional capacity, taking the lead in environmental protection work", Quyen shared and suggested continuing to propagate to create changes in awareness so that each cadre, teacher, and student can act together to protect the environment, create a green lifestyle, and contribute to preserving the living environment.

Within the framework of the event, the Ho Chi Minh City Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment awarded the decision to establish the Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment - Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment. This organization connects students who have the desire and passion for environmental protection activities to enhance the volunteer movement of universities.
