Launch of Dong Thap Bird’s Nest Association

The association was established under Decision No. 1001/QD-UBND as a voluntary socio-professional organization of entities, businesses, and individuals operating across the bird’s nest value chain. Its mission focuses on protecting product value, building brand identity, and promoting the sustainable development of the local bird’s nest industry.

In its first term, the Dong Thap Bird’s Nest Association identified six key pillars: cooperation, linkage, market development, cost reduction, quality improvement, and product diversification. Key programs include building value chain linkages, providing technical support, promoting trade, and protecting members’ rights.

The congress elected an Executive Committee of 16 members and a Standing Committee of 5 members. Mr. Le Thanh Cong was elected as Chairman of the Association.

Mr. Le Thanh Dai, Chairman of the Viet Nam Bird’s Nest Association, highly appreciated the establishment of the association in Dong Thap and emphasized the need for effective operations, member expansion, and promotion of industry value.

Currently, Dong Thap has around 2,154 swiftlet houses, making it one of the largest localities in the Mekong Delta by scale. The establishment of the association is expected to strengthen industry linkages, enhance product value, and contribute to local socio-economic development.

On this occasion, Tri Son Bird’s Nest Enterprise signed a cooperation agreement with Nhan Loc Bird’s Nest Club.
