Kon Ka Kinh National Park, located in Ayun commune (Gia Lai province), is one of the most outstanding special-use forests in the Central Highlands for its nature conservation value. The park covers over 42,000 hectares, with over 93% of its area consisting of natural forest. Home to Mount Kon Ka Kinh, which rises 1,748 meters above sea level, the park is often referred to as the “roof” of the Gia Lai Highlands.
Kon Ka Kinh is renowned for its diverse primary forest ecosystem, rare flora and fauna, and distinctive natural landscapes of the Central Highlands. As a result, the park possesses not only rich biodiversity value but also strong tourism appeal through its pristine beauty, forest exploration routes, wildlife observation opportunities, and ecotourism experiences.

The official recognition as a tourist destination is expected to provide additional momentum for the park to further develop its ecotourism products and nature-based experiences while maintaining biodiversity conservation efforts.
Under the decision issued by the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, the Director of Kon Ka Kinh National Park is responsible for managing, operating, and developing the tourist destination in accordance with regulations. The park must also ensure security, visitor safety, environmental protection, landscape preservation, and the sustainable management of tourism resources.
