Expanding Vietnam - Thailand vegetable, flower and fruit network

This cooperation agreement is within the framework of HortEx Vietnam 2024. The cooperation between Nova Exhibitions BV Exhibition Company (Netherlands), Minh Vi Exhibition & Advertising Services Company Limited (VEAS) and Chanthaburi Provincial Chamber of Commerce (Thailand) is an important step forward in promoting cooperation between the parties. It also contributes to further enhancing the role and position of HortEx Vietnam on the world exhibition map of the Vegetable, Flower and Fruit industry.

At the same time, this memorandum of understanding is also an opportunity for Thai and Vietnamese businesses to trade, cooperate and expand markets for their vegetable, flower and fruit products.

Mr. Ukrit Wongthongsalee, Chairman of the Chanthaburi Chamber of Commerce (Thailand) said, Chanthaburi is a leading province in Thailand famous for its agricultural output, especially fruit growing, with gardens of durian, rambutan and mangosteen.

In addition, Chanthaburi is also the capital of other tropical fruits such as pineapple, jackfruit and longan. The favourable climate and fertile soil have created favourable conditions for the agricultural industry to develop in Chanthaburi province. This is also the main source of income for the people here.

“Through our media channels, we will provide information and widely promote the HortEx Vietnam exhibition throughout Thailand and the region. In addition, we will support and encourage exporters from Chanthaburi province to participate in the HortEx Vietnam exhibition as well as take advantage of our benefits to promote international trade.

Similarly, we will also create favourable conditions for export businesses in Vietnam to participate in the Fruit Innovation Fair (FiF) event and related promotional activities in Thailand", Mr. Ukrit Wongthongsalee, Chairman of Chanthaburi Chamber of Commerce (Thailand) said and affirmed that through this cooperation, agricultural products of Chanthaburi province (Thailand) and Vietnam will present itself to the world.

Known as the leading specialized Vegetable, Flower and Fruit event in the region, HortEx Vietnam has become a reliable meeting point and an important bridge for international traders to access not only the Vietnamese market but also the region. Consequently, the exhibition helps to promote business cooperation between businesses, experts and people operating in the vegetable, flower and fruit production and processing industry in Vietnam and internationally.
