The Dong Nai Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center recently organized a business-to-business networking program connecting enterprises from provinces and cities with local distribution systems. The event brought together numerous enterprises, cooperatives, OCOP producers, suppliers, as well as representatives of retail distribution networks, supermarkets, and purchasing units.
The event provided an opportunity for participants to directly introduce their products, discuss input requirements and standards, seek business partners, and expand their markets.

Nguyen Van Linh, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, emphasized that the program aims to create more opportunities for businesses to meet with distribution networks, shopping malls, logistics companies, and purchasing units.
As a focal point, the Center not only connects supply and demand but also serves as a bridge, helping businesses access information on quality standards, consumer trends, and the requirements of individual distribution systems. This creates more opportunities for OCOP products, agricultural products, processed foods, and typical rural industrial products to enter modern retail channels.
According to the organizers, the program's goal goes beyond initial meetings or agreements. More importantly, it aims to establish stable linkages between producers and distributors, with stakeholders sharing market information, quality standards, and consumer demand.
In reality, many enterprises, cooperatives, and OCOP producers produce high-quality products yet still face difficulties promoting them, reaching consumers, and securing stable outlets. Meanwhile, retail systems increasingly require safe products with traceable origins and reliable long-term supply.

With strengths in agricultural production, processing industries, and transport and logistics infrastructure, Dong Nai is well positioned to become a key hub connecting production areas with major consumer markets. However, to enter modern distribution systems, products must meet not only quality requirements but also standards for packaging, labeling, food safety, traceability, and supply capacity.
Through direct business-matching programs, the Center aims to help businesses better understand buyers’ requirements, enabling them to adjust production, improve products, and enhance competitiveness. OCOP products, local specialties, and processed goods are expected to gain greater access to supermarkets, shopping malls, modern retail channels, and e-commerce platforms, gradually expanding their domestic market presence and moving toward exports.
The Center called on distribution networks, supermarkets, and purchasing units to strengthen the sharing of technical standards, quality requirements, and consumer trends, while creating opportunities for more local products to enter their systems.
Businesses, meanwhile, need to proactively adopt new technologies, strengthen management capacity, accelerate digital transformation, develop stable raw-material sources, and organize production in a green, circular, and sustainable manner.
The Dong Nai Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center will serve as a bridge between production and markets, coordinating with relevant departments and agencies as well as trade promotion centers in provinces and cities to share information, connect supply and demand, and develop regional value chains. Through regular trade promotion activities, the Center aims to help businesses, cooperatives, and OCOP producers not only expand market outlets but also build brands, enhance competitiveness, and establish sustainable commercial partnerships.
