On May 6, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Vo Van Hung paid a working visit to Vina T&T Group’s Kim Thanh 1 and 2 factories. At the two facilities, he reviewed the production and packaging processes for key fruit products, such as coconuts, pomelos, and durians, to ensure they meet international standards.

At the meeting with Deputy Minister Vo Van Hung, representatives of Vina T&T Group provided practical insights from growing areas and farmers, contributing to refining policy directions for the fruit and vegetable sector. These included: standards for growing areas and the capacity to meet international market requirements; transparency in product traceability; strategies to expand into demanding markets; investment in deep processing to enhance agricultural value; operational realities in farming areas and production systems; and the development of growing areas meeting international standards such as GlobalG.A.P. and Organic.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tung, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Vina T&T Group, emphasized the company’s efforts to maintain positive growth amid market fluctuations, while remaining committed to building an internationally standardized agricultural value chain, closely linking with farmers and pursuing sustainable development.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Chairman of the Viet Nam Fruit and Vegetables Association (Vinafruit), also shared practical perspectives on the sector, highlighting current challenges such as competitive pressures, stringent quality control requirements, difficulties in product traceability, as well as the need to improve inspection systems, manage growing-area codes, and invest in processing and infrastructure.
Deputy Minister Vo Van Hung highly appreciated the organizational model and operational capacity of Vina T&T Group, while affirming the support of state management agencies to create a foundation for the company to further expand cooperation, enhance value, and contribute to the sustainable development of Viet Nam’s fruit industry.
