They are also leading in promoting export markets while proactively securing domestic sources of raw materials.
At the same time, the two groups are accelerating technological innovation, upgrading equipment, and synchronizing all stages of production, from breeding and feed technologies to the development of modern farming systems.
Deputy Minister Phung Duc Tien assessed: "The cooperation strategy for the 2026 - 2036 period between Hung Nhon and De Heus to build a sustainable agricultural value chain reflects a long-term vision aligned with the orientation toward a green, circular economy".

Recently, De Heus completed the acquisition of CJ Feed & Care in Asia, further affirming its long-term investment commitment in Viet Nam. This deal strengthens De Heus’ capabilities in technology, human resources, and management, thereby enhancing its ability to provide integrated solutions for livestock farmers in line with the sustainable development direction of the entire sector.
De Heus, together with its strategic partners, will continue investing in high-quality breeding stock and modern livestock systems, applying biosecurity standards to improve productivity and control diseases. The company supports farms in adopting technology and enhancing management and operational capacity, thereby establishing professional, efficient, and sustainable livestock models. At the same time, De Heus is investing in modern slaughtering and processing systems, prioritizing the use of domestic raw materials and developing an integrated value chain.
Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Hung Nhon Group, pledged long-term cooperation with De Heus in the strategy to develop a sustainable agricultural value chain in Viet Nam: "On the foundation of De Heus’ internationally standardized technology and Hung Nhon’s domestic market experience, we aim to create tangible value for farmers, contribute to local economic development, and enhance the competitiveness of Viet Nam’s livestock sector in the long term."

According to Mr. Hung, the projects are gradually forming industrial-scale concentrated livestock zones, applying integrated biosecurity solutions, automation, and international-standard management, with a focus on green growth and emission reduction. Once completed, the entire system is expected to reach a scale of 80 million breeder chickens per year, 25 million broiler chickens for export annually, and 10,000 great-grandparent pigs, providing a crucial foundation for developing a sustainable, stable, and long-term livestock value chain.
De Heus and Hung Nhon have signed a strategic cooperation agreement in livestock farming, breeding production, food processing, and developing a fully integrated agricultural value chain in Viet Nam. Both parties aim to build green, low-emission production models with quality control throughout the entire chain, meeting increasingly stringent standards in both domestic and export markets.

Through this partnership, De Heus and Hung Nhon not only aim to enhance the competitiveness of Viet Nam’s livestock sector but also promote the establishment of concentrated raw material zones, create additional jobs for local workers, and gradually build a modern, sustainable production - processing - distribution chain for agricultural products.
The two parties plan to expand projects in Tay Ninh and Gia Lai with nearly VND 6,000 billion, bringing the total investment for the 2026 - 2036 period to VND 18,300 billion. This investment expansion aims to develop clean, disease-free raw material zones while building livestock feed factories that meet international standards.
Once the entire system is completed, the Hung Nhon - De Heus value chain is expected to generate nearly USD 2 billion in annual revenue, contributing to higher added value, strengthening competitiveness, and boosting exports in Viet Nam’s livestock sector.
