Cuc Phuong National Park named a top spectacular natural destination of 2025

At the 2026 VITA Awards ceremony, organized by the Viet Nam Tourism Association in coordination with the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee to mark the 66th anniversary of Vietnam's Tourism Day, Cuc Phuong National Park was honored with the title "Top Spectacular Natural Destination Attracting Tourists in 2025." The title further cements the park's reputation as one of Vietnam's most treasured natural landmarks.

The award is part of the VITA Awards, an annual national program launched by the Viet Nam Tourism Association to honor localities, destinations, businesses and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the development of Viet Nam's tourism industry in line with digital transformation, green transformation, innovation and sustainable development.

The recognition of Cuc Phuong National Park reflects more than 64 years of steady commitment to the mission of conserving nature, preserving biodiversity and developing ecotourism in a way that balances conservation with sustainable development.

As Vietnam's first national park, Cuc Phuong is not only a primary tropical rainforest of exceptional biodiversity value but also one of the country's and the region's key centers for nature conservation, standing as a benchmark for how protected areas across Viet Nam can be managed.

The park is home to thousands of species of flora and fauna, including many endemic, endangered, rare and precious species, and is a trusted center for wildlife rescue, conservation, breeding and reintroduction into natural habitats.

Over many years, Cuc Phuong National Park has consistently built an ecotourism development model grounded in conservation. Conservation work has also continued to be strengthened through scientific research programs, wildlife rescue and reintroduction efforts, ecosystem restoration, protection of endangered and rare species, and expanded cooperation with international conservation organizations.
