At the Thanh Hoa Provincial Investment Promotion Conference 2026, Mr. Duong Nhat Huy, General Director of Ich Trieu Loi Viet Ceramics Company (under Hoa Lien Ceramics Group from Hunan, China), stated that with over 30 years of experience in ceramics production and business, the group is currently a leading entity in China and worldwide.
According to Mr. Huy, the group first arrived in Thanh Hoa province in August 2024. Following a comprehensive survey and assessment process, the enterprise decided to invest in the "Viet Nam ASEAN Ceramics Valley" project. On July 4, 2025, the project was officially granted an Investment Registration Certificate.
The project is implemented in the Van Thang - Yen Tho Industrial Cluster (in the former Nong Cong district), utilizing 33.4 hectares of industrial land, with a total investment of approximately 200 million USD. Once operational, the project is expected to create jobs for about 4,700 workers and contribute roughly 12 million USD/year to the local budget.

Notably, the enterprise highly evaluated the investment environment in Thanh Hoa as the project was placed in the "green lane" category, significantly shortening the processing time for administrative procedures. Simultaneously, this is also one of the key projects selected by the province to commence construction in celebration of the 20th Provincial Party Congress.
Besides, Thanh Hoa province supported the investment in two roads connecting the infrastructure outside the industrial cluster's fence, with a total cost of over 70 billion VND, creating favorable conditions for the project's implementation. Currently, the project has completed phase 1 construction, is expected to begin operations on April 30, 2026, and will yield its first products by late June 2026.
Mr. Duong Nhat Huy noted that during implementation, the enterprise also acknowledged the active accompaniment of Viet Hung Group JSC, the investor in the industrial cluster's infrastructure and the project's general contractor. With rapid construction progress, creative methods, and an experienced team, this partner has significantly contributed to the project's pace and quality.
The enterprise representative emphasized that the decision to invest in Thanh Hoa was "right and accurate" and expressed hope that, during its long-term operation (estimated at 50 years), the project will continue to receive attention and support from local authorities and partners.
Also according to this investor, with an innovative development mindset, drastic action capacity and substantial accompaniment with enterprises, Thanh Hoa is asserting its image as a dynamic and creative administration in attracting investment.
The foreign investor representative highlighted the desire to build Viet Nam into the "ASEAN Ceramics Valley", with Thanh Hoa identified as the development center. The enterprise affirmed that it does not merely come to invest but brings a long-term vision, ready to accompany Viet Nam in general and Thanh Hoa province in particular on the development journey toward a green, modern and sustainable direction.
